Re-admission to Membership

Want to be re-admitted as an API Member?

To take advantage of the Member rate for any CPD you need to complete before applying for re-admission, it is recommended that you re-join as a Connect or MAPI Member. The Membership fee would be taken into account when you are calculating the fee for your readmitted Membership level.

Note – your continuity of former level of membership will restart when re-admitted, API will provide confirmation of former years of service upon request.

Depending on the length of time since your change of Membership status, the requirements below apply:

Re-admitted level of membership activated upon payment of membership fees.

If you are returning to a former level of membership from the Parental Leave category, the following re-admission requirements apply:

Re-admission 0-2 years
- Current Mandatory Modules as specified in the API CPD Policy
- 2 x Career-specific webinars
Re-admission 3-6 years
- Current Mandatory Modules as specified in the API CPD Policy
- 2 x Career-specific webinars
- 5 x PVT modules selected as a parental leave re-admission package (click here for further details)
