Why become Certified?

API Certifications are well recognised across the industry providing our Members with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver at the highest level in whichever area of the property industry they choose to practise.

API will provide ongoing Continuing Professional Development opportunities to support Certified Development Practitioners in achieving their annual CPD Points in the form of events, webinars, and a selection of online learning courses.

Certified Development Practitioners will also be able to promote their postnominals, which highlight their knowledge, competence and credibility in the property industry. It also gives confidence to your clients, employers and peers when dealing with someone with the relevant professionals status and experience in the field.

 

Can I obtain more than one Certification?

There are no restrictions on the number of certifications you can hold, and often Members find it useful to undertake a new certification to help them move into new areas of the property industry.

 

What are the requirements?

Each certification has it’s own unique requirements, however they all start with Membership and are supported by a curated education pathway to help support your development and ensure you have the tools you need.
