Research Grants
APREF is pleased to support academic research exploring topics critical to the Australian Property Industry. Each year APREF releases defined call topics open to Australian property researchers to apply for research grants.
The APREF Research Grants program will next be taking applications in May 2026.
Who Can Apply
1. The chief investigator must be affiliated with one of the API accredited courses.
2. There is a requirement for a member of the research team to be an API Member.
3. The research aims must include an outcome to benefit the Australian property industry.

Scholarships
The Australian Property Research and Education Fund offers tertiary education scholarships to support students in accessing and completing their desired property economic and valuation degrees.

The Peter Barrington Gold Medal Award encourages research and excellence in the study of land economy.
