Residential Valuations & ESG Considerations
The new IVS will come into effect on 31 January 2025. API has released a range of educational resources to assist in the understanding of the new international standards, including ESG considerations.
Additionally, in relation to residential valuations, to ensure that ESG considerations are properly addressed in both short form and long form reporting, we are excited to share that the Board appointed Futures Innovation Advisory Group has approved the interim PPSM for PropertyPRO (short form). Please see below the interim PPSM:
For residential long form valuation reports, we strongly recommend including an ESG Statement in the General Comments section of the valuation report.
