API Standards Steering Committee (SSC)
The API SSC is charged with advising the API Board on guidance and education required for API members to ensure professional standards are maintained. Committee members are appointed in accordance with the Charter and represent a broad cross section of disciplines, geographical locations, and expertise. Specialist advice is sought, as required, via access to members of organisations and professions including the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB), the legal profession, the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA), State Valuers General and the Commonwealth Government.
