Roadmap for Metropolitan Melbourne re-opening

The Victorian Government has announced that from 11:59pm on 27 October Metropolitan Melbourne moves to Third Step restrictions alongside regional Victoria. This means there are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home. If you can’t work from home, you can go to work, and you do not need to carry a permit. This includes the need to travel to undertake inspections.
Please note the Victorian Government still has a restriction on only travelling 25kms and has requirements about wearing face masks.
You still need a permit to travel between metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria for work, and as per previous advice about permitted work permits, only mortgage valuation services to support banking, finance and insurance activities are permitted.
More details about the Victorian Government’s Third Step for Metropolitan Melbourne can be found here.
