Residential Valuation Standing Instructions Module v2.2.2

The Residential Valuation Industry Group (RVI Group) has prepared a revised version of the ABFI Residential Valuation Standing Instructions Version 2.2.2 (RVSI v2.2.2) which became effective from the 4th of October 2020.
The RVSI v2.2.2 state that “the online Residential Valuation Standing Instructions training module is required to be completed by API members who undertake residential valuations on the PropertyPRO format”.
As per API advice on 23 September 2020 the changes to RVSI v2.2.2 related to align the document with the PropertyPRO Supporting Memorandum. One of the key changes included updates to ‘Progress Inspection Reports’ to cover the treatment of post contract variations. The API has prepared two versions of the training module for RVSI v2.2.2 – a shortened version for valuers who have previously completed RVSI v2.2.1 and a full version for valuers who have not previously completed a standing instructions module.
Short version: What’s New in RVSI v2.2.2 Module
This module is complementary and only available to valuers who previously completed the superseded RVSI v2.2.1.
All participants who are eligible and who have logged into our new systems will have this module already allocated to you. To access the module, please navigate to the My Courses section in the ‘Learning’ section of the Member Portal.
