PropertyPRO Supporting Memorandum Update

The PropertyPRO Supporting Memorandum (PPSM) and associated output reports was released earlier this year with an effective date of 10 May 2020. Following its release, the API received feedback from industry stakeholders in relation to several aspects of the PPSM. Based on this feedback, the Residential Standards Committee (RSC) undertook a review of the feedback and comments from Members and users of Members services.
The changes that have been considered and agreed upon by the RSC were to remove the section on updated reports and have also removed references on how to deal with post TBE report variations when completing progress inspection reports.
As part of the review a functionality change to the Progress Inspection reports questions was identified. This change does not impact the content of the output report, rather it relates to IT system functionality with the ‘rules’ relating to the Approved/Endorsed Plans Sighted? and Fully executed Building Contract Sighted? questions and the ability to complete the report. The API has had discussions with ValEx/CoreLogic and confirmed that the systems changes will be implemented well before the 4 October 2020 ‘go live’ date.
A copy of the updated PPSM is available here.

The updated PPSM will ‘go live’ on Sunday 4 October 2020.
