The Queensland Government has announced that Greater Brisbane (Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redland and Moreton Bay council areas) will go into lockdown for three days – from 5pm tonight, Monday 29 March, until 5pm Thursday 1 April.
Details of the lockdown can be found here.
You will note that the Queensland Government will allow you to leave home for work if you are not able to reasonably work remotely.
For members who will need to leave home to conduct inspections, please note that the Queensland Government will require you to carry a mask.
It is also important to familiarise yourself with API COVID-19 protocols available at the hub on our website.
If you have any symptoms at all, get tested immediately and quarantine at home until you receive a negative result.
The API is continuing to liaise with the Queensland Government to ensure we can communicate with you on any changes that may affect your work. Stay safe.
Kind regards,
Amelia Hodge
