The API is systematically reviewing its standards to meet the changing and future needs of Members.
The API and our PINZ colleagues in New Zealand have undertaken a review of the existing paper, ANZVGP 103 Addressing the Concept of Forced Sale and produced an updated guidance paper.
The comprehensive review has resulted in an updated paper which is intended to provide guidance to Members including Valuers in relation to the concept of “forced sale” and the issues to be considered when requested to provide their opinion of a ‘forced sale price estimate’, also referred to as a ‘forced sale realisable price’ for a property.
The API and PINZ are pleased to release the updated paper as an Exposure Draft for review and consultation.
Members and interested industry stakeholders are encouraged to provide comments on the exposure draft paper using the link webform provided here by no later than Friday 18 November 2022.
