The Queensland Government has announced that Greater Brisbane (Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan council areas) will go into lockdown for three days – from 6pm tonight, Friday 8 January, until 6pm Monday 11 January.
Details of the lockdown can be found on the Queensland Government’s website.
You will note that the Queensland Government will allow you to leave home for work if you are not able to reasonably work remotely.
For Members who will need to leave home to conduct inspections, please note that the Queensland Government will require you to wear a mask at all times outside your home.
It is also important to familiarise yourself with API COVID-19 protocols available on our COVID-19 Hub.
If you have any symptoms at all, get tested immediately and quarantine at home until you receive a negative result.
The API is continuing to liaise with the Queensland Government to ensure we can communicate with you on any changes that may affect your work. Stay safe.
