The FPP program is currently under review – the new program will be released on 4 January 2021.

We will cease taking enrolments for the existing FPP modules after 6 December 2020.

The new Practical Valuation Training (PVT) Program is more comprehensive than the FPP course and this is a deliberate change to ensure all applicants for RPV or CPV are well prepared for transition from student to professional Valuer.

FPP to PVT – Transition Process

The below table lists the compulsory and elective modules to be completed during the new PVT Program.

  • RPV applicants must complete 16 compulsory modules.
  • CPV applicants must complete 22 modules consisting of 20 compulsory modules and 2 elective modules.
  • All applicants must then complete the complimentary Admissions Module prior to submitting their application.

If you purchased the full FPP program prior to 6 December 2020 you will not be required to complete any transitional units, with the exception of the complimentary Admissions Module, if you complete the FPP program prior to June 1, 2021.  Enrolments after this date will need to transition to the new program.

Enrolments for the existing FPP program will be closed between 7 December 2020 and 4 January 2021. Any interested participants during this period should email education@api.org.au and we will be in touch upon release of the new program.

If you had completed some FPP Modules prior to 6 December 2020 but had not purchased the full program, credits will be provided for the modules completed and you will transition to the new PVT program. New modules are easily identified in the transition column below.

Candidates that commence the new PVT program from its release on the 4 January 2021, must undertake all modules in the respective RPV or CPV PVT curriculum.
