Hugh Bristow, Director | MJD
Hugh qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1979 in England. He worked on commercial property mainly in the London area, but also valued several portfolios across the UK. In 1981, in Australia, Hugh worked as a surveyor in the oil exploration field in remote locations. He then moved back into the field of valuation and a re-qualified whilst working for international property advisors Knight Frank. Hugh then founded and was sole principal of Bristow & Associates, before moving into the Director role at Civic Valuations Pty Ltd. Primary duties/services include undertaking valuations of residential development sites, as well as retail, commercial and industrial assets. Apart from everyday valuations for first mortgage purposes, Hugh has significant expert witness, receiver/disposal and rental assessment/determination.
