He currently operates as the CEO of CastleCoin, holds a Masters of Business Management, is a qualified Financial Planner, Mortgage Broker, Agents Representative, Vocational Trainer and leader in the business and financial services training sector.
Joni Pirovich - Lawyer, Hall & Wilcox
Joni leads the Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Tax team at Hall & Wilcox and is responsible for maximising Hall & Wilcox’s connection with start-ups and scale-ups (and the technology they are working on) through relationships with the likes of RMIT, Stone & Chalk, Fintech Australia and Blockchain Australia. Joni was recently recognised as a thought leader in the legal space, being named a finalist in the 2018 Lawyers Weekly Awards, and has recently participated in the roundtables as part of Treasury’s review into Initial Coin Offerings. Joni is an industry mentor for RMIT Online’s Blockchain Business Strategy course.
John Bassilios - Special Counsel, Hall & Wilcox
John has broad experience in financial services, funds management, blockchain, corporate and commercial law, with a particular emphasis on funds management related matters. John has acted for a wide range of financial services providers (both start-ups and established industry providers).
Dr Adrian Lee - Senior Lecturer, Finance Discipline Group, UTS Business School
Dr Adrian Lee is a researcher in cryptocurrency and real estate at the University of Technology Sydney Business School. He was an expert witness to the 2014 Australian Federal Government’s inquiry into foreign investors in residential real estate. His research on residential real estate has been published in top academic journals and has featured extensively in the media including in the Washington Post, BBC, Sina.com.cn and the Australian Financial Review.
