Get an overview of what is happening in the property industry in regional New South Wales. Join the API for our NSW Virtual Regional Roadshow Series.

You will hear market updates from a diverse range of regional locations throughout NSW, while also learning about all the latest regional property issues.

The series will consist of three episodes that are 1.5 hours each. You can choose to register to attend the full series or for each individual episode. You can also register for the recordings if you cannot make the dates and times listed.

Presenters

Colin Pugsley - Director, Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast and NSW State Committee Member
Colin Pugsley is Director of Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle & Central Coast which is a Hunter and Central Coast based valuation practice with an office in each region. He is a fellow of the API and a current NSW State Committee member. Colin is a Valuer General panel valuer within NSW and undertakes Determinations for compensation for compulsory acquisitions as well as completing various compensation valuations as an expert and for private clients and organisations including Ausgrid and others. Colin teaches Compulsory Acquisition within the Statutory Valuation course of the TAFE Property Degree at Sydney.
Robert Dupont - CEO, Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast
Robert Dupont is the previous CEO of Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast. He began his career as a valuer in the New South Wales Valuer-General's Office before moving to Zambia. Upon return to Australia he began his own firm, Dupont Fagan Valuers. Robert then started as CEO of Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast in 2009. Throughout his career Robert has served on many API Committees including as President of the NSW Division, National Councillor, NSW Divisional Councillor and on the Australian Valuation Standards Committee.
Adrian Christie - Director, Preston Rowe Paterson
Adrian Christie is a Director at Preston Rowe Paterson Newcastle and Central Coast. He started at Preston Rowe Paterson as a Senior Valuer in 2017. Prior to joining Preston Rowe Paterson, Adrian held the roles of State Director, Commercial Valuations (NSW) and Regional Manager NSW at WBP Property Group. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Business (RPV & A) from the University of Queensland.
Trudy Crooks, Managing Director, ResortBrokers
As Managing Director of ResortBrokers, Trudy has overseen the expansion of the family company’s network of brokers active across every state and territory nationally and her drive and enthusiasm has resulted in an exponential increase sales turnover. The seeds of Trudy’s passion for the property industry were planted early. She originally began her career with ResortBrokers straight out of school, selling her first motel in Port Macquarie before she was 20. Then she spent almost a decade in London with the UK's leading real estate agency, Foxtons, where she rose through the ranks to run their blue-chip Mayfair office in London. Today, Trudy is a driving force behind ResortBrokers' ongoing success and expansion, handling recruiting, induction and all broker training. She travels extensively to support her sales team of 30 brokers nationwide and monitor the region’s diverse and dynamic accommodation markets. Responding to demand for ResortBrokers’ services in the hotel sector, Trudy launched and heads the company’s dedicated Hotels Division, focused on assisting major hotel operators such as Quest, Accor, Mantra, and Minor International expand their footprint in Australia. Trudy still acts personally on key transactions nationwide from Tasmania to the Top End.
Greg Le Quesne - Development Manager, Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation
Greg Le Quesne is a Senior Development Manager at Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation. Greg has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and development industry. With a background in construction delivery and project management Greg thrives on balancing complex stakeholder needs with the commercial reality of project delivery to achieve high quality urban development. He has delivered projects as diverse as the commercial high-rise Coca Cola Place in North Sydney to the Sanctuary master planned community at Fletcher.  More recently being responsible for some major urban renewal projects in Newcastle such as the Bathers Way, Merewether Baths Upgrade and Newcastle Urban Transformation, opening the first public domain on the former rail corridor, Market St Lawn. At HCCDC Greg’s focus is on the Honeysuckle West precinct redevelopment, creating great public spaces, including the final connection of Newcastle’s world class foreshore promenade and the continued expansion of the city’s west end CBD.
