O200727

Description

For a limited time only, the full series of 3 webinars can be purchased at a discounted rate of $180 (API members only). If a live webinar date has already passed, you will receive access to the recording. Please allow 7-10 days after each live webinar has passed for the recording to be available.

The first episode of the API Economic Recovery Series, hosted by the ABC’s Elysse Morgan, includes a panel of experts from the retail shopping and office markets who will discuss a range of issues to help you adapt and thrive in these changed markets. The panel will cover:

  • The impact of COVID-19 lockdown measures on consumer and retail shopping patterns and where activity is likely to trend, together with examples from major retail strips in Melbourne.
  • Impacts and opportunities for shopping malls, cafes and restaurants as the recovery unfolds.
  • The spike in demand for online shopping and what this will mean for warehousing space in the long term.
  • Activity in the office space and any insights for a sustained drop in demand as more people work from home or a gradual return to pre COVID-19 occupation rates.
