Sustainability – Property Development

The Sustainability module is designed to enhance your understanding of the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability in property development. This module covers an overview of the conceptual frameworks underpinning our understanding of sustainability and explores options regarding compliance with legal and voluntary frameworks to procure optimum sustainability.

Learning Outcomes

The following learning outcomes will be gained by the learner:

• Identify fundamental principles of sustainability
• Apply sustainability principles to a diverse range of development project scenarios
• Evaluate scenarios in development projects to decide on optimal risk management strategy for sustainability

Duration

This module will take up to 4 hours of self-paced online learning. That said, there are activities and extension readings that may extend this duration.

Module Assessment

The assessment for this module is a quiz comprising of 20 multiple choice and true or false questions. The pass mark is 80%.

The assessment can only be attempted twice.  If on the second attempt a pass mark is not reached, you will need to contact [email protected] to arrange to a re-sit.  Please note a $20.00 administration fee applies if you require to re-sit the assessment.
