Recent cost-of-living pressures and the crisis in the global energy sector have pushed many Australians, particularly vulnerable households, into energy stress and poverty. This webinar will explore the links between energy inefficient homes, unaffordable energy bills, and poor health and wellbeing. With a focus on the role of the built environment in mitigating energy poverty, this webinar will explain how retrofitting poorly efficient and health-threatening homes are one of the most effective ways of reducing energy bills, promoting community health, adapting to climate change, and easing the burden in our public health system.
