Presenters

Sameer Chopra, Head of Research, Pacific and ESG Asia Pac, CBRE
Sameer joined CBRE in 2021 as Head of Research, Pacific and ESG Asia Pacific. At CBRE he has been responsible for framing the real estate market outlook and developing our economic and sector forecasts. His team leads an active pipeline of thought leadership. He has also been active in asset specific campaigns. Previously, Sameer was Managing Director, Head of Australia Research and Head of Asia Pacific ESG Research at Bank of America Securities.
Lisa Hinde, Head of Sustainability, Real Estate Management Services, Colliers International
Lisa is Head of Sustainability at Colliers for the Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team with a key focus on developing long- term sustainability, health and wellbeing strategies to support colleagues and clients’ ambitions. Involving integrated planning and management of new and existing asset performance using industry best practice, Lisa builds strategies drawing on her extensive experience with sustainability, health and wellbeing tools such as NABERS, Green Star, the WELL Building standard, Climate Active (net zero / carbon neutral) and Circular Economy principles. Her work is globally recognised as enabling scalable solutions to complex challenges in the built environment. As well as leading the REMS sustainability team for Australia, Lisa supports Colliers Global ESG committee through her role on the steering committee for Asia Pacific and leading the Environmental pillar regionally, supporting Colliers long-term strategy to develop and execute a robust ESG program including commitments to Science Based Targets Initiative and achieving net zero status by 2030.
Hugh Hartigan, Head of Research
Hugh Hartigan has over 15 years of public policy experience working in government, including seven years at the Australian Treasury. Hugh’s experience traverses a range of public policy issues including Commonwealth budgets, tax analysis and housing-related policy issues. He has a Bachelor of Commerce, with honours in economics from Macquarie University.
Steven Bougoukas, Executive Director, White & Partners
Steven Bougoukas has over 18 years of real estate finance experience across all sectors including office, retail, hotels, residential, land & industrial. He has been involved in major transactions across development & project finance, acquisitions and refinancing. Steven held various senior roles within ANZ Banking Group’s Property division with his last role overseeing the Corporate Property team across NSW, ACT QLD & NT. During his time at ANZ, Steven was involved in managing some of the largest property groups including various listed REITs, international investors and private property development groups. Since joining White & Partners, he has become an integral part of the Management Team overseeing the execution of new transactions, management and oversight of existing investments and the legal & compliance functions within the business. Steven also is a lecturer at the University of NSW for the Property Finance & Investment course.
Turi Condon Director, Corporate Affairs
Turi is the Director of Corporate Affairs. Turi has more than 25 years of experience in media and corporate affairs. Before joining NHFIC, Turi was The Australian newspaper’s Property Editor and spent most of her career in journalism and senior editorial management roles for Australia’s two largest national media groups, News Corp (The Australian) and Fairfax Media, now Nine (Australian Financial Review and BRW). Her earlier experience includes overseeing marketing and corporate affairs for a division of global financial services firm Schroders. Turi holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Queensland.
Luke Berry | Founder - Global Director of Sales & Marketing
Luke is Co-Founder & Director of Sales & Marketing at Third.i Group. He is responsible for the implementation of all sales and marketing activities across the various divisions and projects owned by Third.i. Luke has over 20 years’ experience in the creation of ‘brand identity’ and is an industry leader in project marketing & sales, that has seen the business set envious sales records both in Australia and the UK. Luke’s strategic thinking has helped Third.i secure a range of industry awards both in Australia as well as abroad, with Third.i securing multiple international awards for their projects throughout Asia.
Nicky Landsberge, Partner at EY (Climate Change and Sustainability Services Team)
Nicky is a Partner with EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in Sydney. She has more than 13 years’ experience advising companies on their sustainability activities, including two years in London working with several global leaders. Nicky works with clients to help shape their corporate sustainability programs and non-financial reporting to meet emerging stakeholder expectations. Her expertise covers a variety of sustainability matters, such as environmental management, health, safety & wellbeing programs, social and community activities, modern slavery and human rights, as well as people and diversity matters. Having started her career at EY in the financial audit practice, Nicky’s passion is to support organisations measure and value the intangibles that increasingly impact business performance today.
Richard Gibbs Chief Economist at Urbis
Richard is Chief Economist at Urbis and a Lead Director in the Economics and Property team, focused on the application of ESG and Sustainability principles in the built environment. He has over 25 years of experience in urban economic analysis, including major economic and social infrastructure development and evaluation and has worked on a diverse range of large-scale economic development, master plan and urban renewal projects across Australia and internationally. Richard is an internationally Certificated Sustainability Leadership Practitioner, and an Accredited Social & Economic Impact Evaluator. Prior to joining Urbis, Richard was the Chief Economist and Global Head of Economics and Strategy at Macquarie Group and was responsible for the establishment of Macquarie’s ESG and Sustainability Advisory Services. Most recently, Richard has led reviews of the Social and Economic Impact on Communities & Businesses of the 2019-20 Bushfires, Heat Island Abatement Strategies for residential developments in NSW and QLD, Economic Transition Strategies for mining communities, and Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Assessments of commercial and residential properties.
Bill Evans Chief Economist at Westpac
William (Bill) Evans is a graduate of the University of Sydney and the London School of Economics. He has worked as a Research Manager for the Reserve Bank of Australia, Treasurer at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and prior to joining Westpac in 1991, was Director and Head of Financial Markets at Schroders Australia Limited for 8 years. At Westpac he is Managing Director & Global Head of Economics & Research.
Eliza Owen Head Of Residential Research Australia at CoreLogic
Eliza has a wealth of experience in property data analysis and reporting. She worked as an economist at Residex, a research analyst at Domain Group and previously as the commercial real estate and construction analyst at CoreLogic. Eliza is a popular keynote speaker, having presented to thousands in real estate, construction, banking and finance and property development, as well as consumer audiences.
