Amelia Hodge, Chief Executive Officer, Australian Property Institute
Amelia Hodge is the CEO of the Australian Property Institute and has enjoyed a senior executive career spanning some 27 years, with her depth of experience driving successful outcomes across a range of sectors, projects and industries. Her previous Chief Executive, Senior executive and project roles have included Origin Energy, Powerlink Queensland, the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority, Qld Law Society and Coffey Commercial Advisory, following her legal career in the property sector. 
Danny Thomas, Senior Director. LAWD
Danny Thomas is a Senior Director with LAWD and brings more than 25 years’ experience to the role, having held senior agribusiness leadership positions in commercial real estate companies in Australia. Widely regarded as one of the nation’s leading agribusiness transaction advisors, Danny has stewarded many of the largest transactions in Australia’s farm sector in the past decade, and notably oversaw the sale of Lawson Grains (as a going concern) and the Corinella Portfolio (in 27 separate contracts) in his inaugural year at LAWD for a total of $950 million. Additionally, he is a Certified Practising Valuer with key expertise in valuing complex agribusiness assets as well as valuations for litigation support and assessing compensation for compulsory acquisition.
Georgia Warren-Myers, Associate Professor in Property University of Melbourne
Dr Georgia Warren-Myers is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Property Development and Valuation in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne. Her research investigates the relationships between value, valuation and industry practice, and climate related risk and sustainability in the built environment. Dr Warren-Myers brings her industry experience in valuation and development into her specific areas of research. Examining with a practice lens aspects of sustainability, carbon risk, climate change risks to property and implications for values, professional valuation practice and property markets. Dr Warren-Myers’ research has important connections with industry and her involvement in various professional bodies including: the IVSC ESG Working Group and the API National Standards Steering Committee, and other industry organisations like the Global Scientific Committee for the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor, the Investor Group on Climate Change, and the Green Building Council Homes Advisory Committee; making important contributions to the development of standards, guidelines and tools for the property industry.
Sean Ellison, Research Manager, Cushman & Wakefield
Sean Ellison is the Research Manager covering New South Wales at Cushman and Wakefield working in the Sydney office. He is responsible for driving the research output for Greater Sydney across all segments of the built environment, while also contributing to broader thought leadership output. Sean has more than a decade of experience in the property and financial services sectors in Asia and Australia. Prior to joining Cushman and Wakefield, Sean was a Senior Economist with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in Singapore and Sydney, responsible for producing RICS’s research output. Prior to this Sean worked as a strategist in the Hong Kong and Singapore financial services industries, where he advised global institutional investors on strategies for Asian equity, foreign exchange, fixed income, commodity, and derivative markets.
Quentin Kilian, Chief Executive Officer REIV - Real Estate Institute of Victoria
Quentin was appointed by the Board as CEO from 18 February 2022. Immediately prior to joining the REIV, Quentin was the CEO of The Real Estate Institute of the Northern Territory (REINT), a position he held for 12 years. Quentin brings to the REIV a wealth of private and public sector experience gained both in Australia and overseas, including 6 years directing Asian relations and international trade for the Northern Territory Government.
Andrew Salce, Regional Director, Opteon Solutions
Anthony Salce is The Regional Director for Opteon in Victoria and is a passionate, astute leader who thrives in managing a team of expert valuers and property professionals. Alongside Regional Director responsibilities, Anthony specialises in Family Law Valuations, prestige residential valuations, and given past roles in the private lending sector, Anthony enjoys partnering with several lenders providing debt solutions in small to medium residential development projects. Highly skilled in the property consultant/advisory sector, allows Anthony to strategically align partnerships through an extensive network built over 20 years within the property industry. As Regional Director at Opteon, Anthony leads a team of highly skilled valuers and managers, that break all industry benchmarks and leads by example with integrity, whilst supporting the API as a panel examiner shaping future leaders across Australia.
Laila Burnet, National Director of Health, Aged Care and Seniors Living, M3 Property
Laila is the National Director of the Health, Aged Care and Seniors Living team. She specialises in providing valuation and property advice. Over the course of her career, Laila has worked across a range of asset classes including residential, commercial and industrial properties. In her current role, Laila undertakes valuations and advises clients in relation to medical, retirement, aged care and disability assets. Laila specialises in the valuation of large portfolios for financial reporting purposes together with providing extensive market, demographic studies, acquisition and divestment advice. Laila has been working in property since 1997 providing a range of valuation services in both the residential and commercial sectors and also spent five years managing and operating her own real estate practice in Adelaide before moving to Melbourne in 2005.
