- Generous remuneration package. Salary ranges from $106,025 to $117,363 plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Valuation NSW is currently seeking a Senior Valuer to join their Just Terms team
As the Senior Valuer, you will provide professional, expert and authoritative property and valuation information and technical expertise to a range of customers and stakeholders. You will also be required to maintain valuation data; respond to issues that customers raise about objection reports and outcomes; and prepare data or reports for a range of valuation services including just terms compensation, objections and exceptions.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be confident in making complex, difficult or politically sensitive valuations and will be skilled at maintaining valuation data and reporting on valuation services delivered under contract. It is essential that you are a Certified Practising Valuer and hold Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute.

About Us
The Valuer General is an independent statutory officer, appointed by the Governor of New South Wales to oversee the State’s land valuation system.
VNSW provides services to, supports, and where appropriately delegated, delivers relevant functions on behalf of the Valuer General of NSW.
This includes:
- Defining and setting the standards and policies for the land valuation system for rating and taxing purposes along with the determination of compensation through the compulsory acquisition process to ensure integrity within the NSW Government is upheld.
- Making valuations as well as monitoring, quality assurance and governance pertaining to the quality of the valuations undertaken relevant to both the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.
- Providing other specialised valuation activities, services and determinations as/when required for other cluster or statewide government partners; and
- Providing professional leadership and stewardship to the valuation industry.
