Within the QLD market JLL deliver Valuations and Advisory services across a premier client base incorporating commercial, residential, retail and industrial. The Brisbane team prides itself in having a strong client base across all segments of the market and is often sought out by our clients to undertake more complex valuation assignments.
The Assistant Valuer / Analyst will provide support, analytical and technical assistance to Directors within the Brisbane Valuations & Advisory team
• Providing timely, accurate valuations under supervision, to support the pitching and delivery of client transactions.
• Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to support business-winning teams.
• Undertaking data verification and audit.
• Compiling and verifying market evidence for reports.
• Preparing, editing, and modifying computer cashflow models.
• Providing direct assistance as required to enable the Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions.
• Working closely with the Sales and Leasing Services team to ensure maintenance and alignment of technical competency.
• Attending client functions and seminars.
• Leveraging research capacity by circulating relevant market data and sales analysis.

An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications
- Desired experience and technical skills
- The candidate must have a keen interest in the commercial real estate market and a basic understanding of influences in this sector.
- Tertiary qualified in property valuation, with a view to gaining registration with relevant professional authorities.

• Willing to set stretch targets for self and rigorously monitor and manage own performance.
• Enthusiastic to establish open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues, clients and the wider business community.
• Able to gain the respect of JLL people, clients and the broader business community.

• An effective listener, with the ability to communicate through action and example.
• Able to prove your ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and to tight deadlines.
• Computer literate preferably in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
