State Directors (NSW & QLD) – Residential Property Valuations

About the role

Due to an internal career move, we have two exciting opportunities now available for talented senior leaders to engage & guide our New South Wales and Queensland Residential Valuations teams.

Leading a large team of talented valuers and people leaders, you will promote a strong service culture, and ensure service delivery that is responsive to the operational and strategic needs of the organisation. You will foster a positive and productive relationship with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and timely outcomes of business priorities.

By leveraging Opteon’s reputation, geographic coverage, valuer expertise and relationships (existing & future), you will continuously improve and innovate our Residential Valuations service to further expand our market share. You will establish strong leadership and operational rhythms, and will lead and implement projects cross your teams.

In addition, you will focus on the growth and evolution of your business area through operational excellence, integration of technology and emphasis on improving practices, products and leveraging relationships to grow non-bank and bank revenue.

The successful execution of these focus areas will ensure Opteon is considered an employer of choice.

About You

This is a terrific opportunity for a driven professional with highly developed valuation knowledge. You don’t need to be a qualified Valuer to secure this role. We are open to considering exceptional leaders who have industry experience and outstanding operational and leadership skills.

You will also have:

• A Degree in Business/Commerce or equivalent qualifications
• Solid experience leading large teams
• Exposure to the Valuation industry
• Knowledge of QLD and NSW geographical areas
• An agile and innovative work ethic with an ability to create and deliver new solutions, ideas or methods
