Junior Property Analyst

The Role

The Junior Property Analyst position would suit either a recent graduate or student who has a real passion for property and looking to develop their career with an amazing firm.

The role will see you actively involved in the valuation process by working in the Market Data team and taking on the responsibility of researching, collating and recording data attached to sales, leases, developments and transaction activity within the Victorian property market.

Working closely with your manager you will engage with a number of systems and plenty of data all whilst developing skills and industry knowledge covering multiple property sectors right across Victoria.

Position and Duties

One of the great things about the property and valuations industry is just how dynamic it is, and with so much to learn, it’s unlikely two days will be exactly the same. Throughout your time as an Analyst some of your duties will include:

• Researching property sales and leasing information on a daily basis
• Liaising with agents and other property professionals seeking up to date market activity
• Collecting, analysing and recording market data
• Supporting the Market Data and valuations team where required
• Undertaking valuations (under supervision)
• Compiling reports

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this position applicants must hold a valid driver’s license, have their own vehicle and display the following attributes and qualities:

• True passion for property and analysis
• Demonstrated desire to move into the property industry
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Autonomy, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong report writing skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel)
