Assistant Valuer – VIC

Charter Keck Cramer is a Strategic Property Advisory Firm, engaging 150 employees throughout its Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Singapore offices. The firm provides a wide range of property services across Valuations, Advisory, Research and Strategy, Projects and Capital.

Position Overview

Charter’s Valuations group has several positions available for Assistant Valuers to work on a full-time basis. Reporting to the National Executive Director(s), these positions will provide support through research and evaluation of property-related data, and assistance with reporting requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Accompany and assist the team in undertaking property inspections, including measurement.
• Undertake research of comparable property sales and other relevant information.
• Assist with evaluation and data analysis including financial analysis and cash flow modelling.
• Contribute to the compilation of Valuation reports, supported by appropriate commentary.
• Regularly update the internal database.
• Monitor and highlight issues in relation to risk and compliance.
• Liaise with clients and external parties as required.

Position Requirements:

• Currently completing tertiary qualifications in Property, specialising in Valuations, with availability to work full time.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Research and data analysis capability.
• Attention to detail.
• Disciplined, passionate and organised with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements.
• Commercially astute.
• Tertiary qualifications (completed, or as part of a double degree) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline would be advantageous.
