Cadet Valuer

Sovereign Valuations is a boutique valuation firm undertaking property valuations across both Melbourne and Sydney. Properties valued include Commercial, Residential and Specialised assets. Valuations are undertaken for a range of purposes however the primary focus is family law, compulsory acquisition, general litigation and rental valuations/determinations.

The position of Cadet Valuer will see you working alongside the director on a variety of matters, providing you with experience across many facets of valuations. You will be trained in time to learn the whole valuation process including research, inspections, measuring, note-taking, report writing and analysis. The director in a previous position has successfully mentored multiple cadets through to obtaining their CPV accreditation with the API.

You will have the following strengths and attributes:

• Mathematically inclined with a knowledge of statistics and basic concepts such as regression analysis
• Excellent communicator – written and verbal
• Either in the final year of a relevant university degree or recently graduated
• Eager to learn
• Drivers license

The role will be suited to a motivated candidate who is prepared to work within a fast-paced and on occasion high pressured environment. For the hard work, there will be success that will be enjoyed along the way.
