KPMG Valuation Services is positioned within our Deals Tax and Legal (DTL) group and its team has extensive experience in providing valuation advice in relation to transactions, reorganisations, disputes, litigations, financial reporting, taxation, restructurings and funds.
The Real Estate Valuations team within Valuation Services provide robust valuations of real estate for top tier clients across a broad range of industries (locally and globally) and government entities for multiple purposes including financial reporting, tax (and stamp duty), pre and post-transaction and audit support.

Your Opportunity
Our Brisbane office has a new opportunity for an early career professional (Analyst/Consultant) to join this niche and nationally growing group. Working as a member of a close-knit supportive team you will be involved in and learn how to manage end-to-end projects in relation to:
- Performing physical inspections and valuations of real estate and support the wider team in valuations of machinery, equipment as required,
- Reviewing and building/adapting valuation models for assets and projects,
- Performing market research and benchmark analysis,
- Preparing valuation reports outlining the analysis, key assumptions and valuation findings,
- Analysing industries and financial information relevant to key valuations metrics and drivers,
- Assisting in business development and research efforts for the team,
- Undertaking valuations across different industries for different purposes such as tax, financial reporting and transactions.

To be considered for this opportunity, your experience, qualifications and skills should include:
- Recent experience and/or interest in real estate valuations
- Final year or recent graduate with a property degree (or similar), suitable for admission to the Australian Property Institute (API)
- Desire to become a certified practising valuer (CPV)
- Solid analytical and communications skills
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, strong work ethic and commercial acumen will be highly regarded
- Good communication and report writing skills
- A client-focused approach with the ability to build robust relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- The ability to work in a team and autonomously
- A desire to contribute to team success along with a motivated and dedicated work ethic
