Assistant Valuer

Leeson Valuers provide independent property valuations and we specialise in residential, commercial, industrial, rural, places of worship properties. We also undertake valuations for litigation (expert witness), easements, mining, energy, infrastructure projects and property resumptions/compensation. Leeson Valuers also provide independent plant and equipment and chattels valuations. All our valuers are Certified Practicing Valuers with the Australian Property of Institute (API).

We currently have an Assistant Valuer role available in our Brisbane office for recent graduates or students completing their final year of study. The role will offer career development opportunities and support through the valuation accreditation process for the right candidate.

The role can be full or part-time.

Duties will include:

• File preparation – data collection, sales/rental/market research, generating invoices
• Booking valuation appointments
• Assisting Senior Valuers with on-site property inspections
• Drafting reports
• General assistance as required by senior valuers
• Assist with general office administration duties

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in a property related field
• A passion for the property industry
• A valid driver’s licence
• A high degree of computer literacy
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service ethic
• High level of organisation and efficiency
• Ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask and work within tight time constraints
