Senior Analyst – Property

Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) is a public authority responsible for investing for the benefit of Victorians on behalf of the State of Victoria. We manage funds of over $70 billion for 31 Victorian public authorities and related organisations.

The Senior Analyst role is designed to assist the Property Team in managing its diverse range of unlisted real estate investments across a $5bn+ portfolio. These investments are managed by a broad range of institutional and boutique Fund Managers within Australia and offshore, predominantly across the Retail, Office and Industrial Logistics sectors, but with an increasing focus on Real Estate Debt (multisector) and alternative strategies.

The role will extend to quantitative research to complement and support portfolio management and investment decisions as well as developing and maintaining robust processes and procedure.

This role has a market-facing element dealing extensively with market-leading institutional and boutique fund managers in Australia and globally. The opportunity exists to assist with strategy formulation into new investment areas (such as Property debt, social and residential plus a range of niche strategies).
