About the position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.
The emphasis of the position is to deliver and undertake teaching within the areas of property law/mediation, property agency/marketing, commercial leasing, and property financing. A Senior Teaching Fellow is expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching efforts of the Faculty and to engage in activities that develop the scholarly and professional expertise that they bring to their teaching under the guidance and support from senior academic staff.
About the person:
Applicants will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Property, Law, Economics, or Commerce. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive professional experience in these fields may also be considered. It is desirable that the applicant is a member of a relevant professional body such as the API, RICS, Law Society, REIQ/A or be eligible for such membership.
As a member of the academic staff team, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to teaching and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.
Salary details:

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $95,939 plus 9.5% superannuation. Salary packaging options are available.
