Member Consultation for API Submission to Banking Inquiry

The Australian Property Institute established an Expert Committee in November 2017 under the Co-Chairs of Professor John Sheehan AM and Ms Amelia Hodge, API Chief Executive Officer, to prepare a response to the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Industries (Banking Royal Commission).

As part of the consultative process, we invite members, on a confidential basis, to share their views with the Co-Chairs of the Expert Committee.  Members can review the Terms of Reference here and should be prepared to provide specific feedback on issues within the scope of the Inquiry.

Three options are available:

1.    Face-to-face interviews in most capital cities as per the schedule below:

  • Adelaide      13 March
  • Canberra     14 & 15 March
  • Brisbane      20 & 21 March
  • Melbourne   22 & 23 March
  • Hobart         26 March
  • Sydney        27 & 28 March

2.    Skype/phone interview to be scheduled prior to the week of 9 April

3.    Submit your feedback in writing via the online form or by email to advocacy@api.org.au

Meetings will be scheduled for a maximum of 20 minutes and will be strictly confidential. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests for face-to-face interviews, there are limited time slots available so those we are unable to include will be offered a skype/phone interview.
