EOI for YPP - Join your local YPP Committee in 2020
As we enter in to the latter stages of a fantastic year, the API is seeking expressions of interest from our early career professionals across Australia to join their local YPP Committee in 2020. We strive to have a YPP Committee exist in every state and territory and the composition of each Committee encourages gender, age, market sector, race and cultural diversity, in accordance with the API Diversity Policy.
The primary objective of the Committee is to support API’s YPPs in the development of their professional careers by providing education and networking opportunities and resources and also advocating on important YPP issues. In addition, becoming a Committee member is an important role to help shape and influence the property profession for now and for the future.
Your role on the committee will be to:
- Regularly attend local YPP events
- Actively contribute to producing resources that will benefit a YPP’s career development and wellbeing
- Promote the benefits of membership to early career professionals
- Liaise with student groups at educational institutions
- Support the API in broadening its membership by providing input into early career education
Programs assist with organisation of functions in consultation with local Member
provide insight and suggestions for events and activities of interest to young property professionals.
To be considered for the committee you must be available to attend regular YPP committee meetings, be enthusiastic about the property industry and have a collaborative, solution-focussed approach to deliver outcomes for API, the Committee and your peers. Applications close on Monday 13 January 2019 for NSW, QLD, SA, WA, VIC, NT, TAS, ACT.
