The 2018 API NT State of the Market offers a diverse program of highly topical content providing an overview of the State of the Economy for the Northern Territory as well as Market Updates both locally and at a national level. This half day event will also feature an update on the mining industry in the Northern Territory and overview of the Major Projects within the Northern Territory.

Hon. Nicole Manison
Nicole is a born and bred Territorian, passionate about making a positive difference in her community.
Since coming to Government in August 2016, as well as the roles of Deputy Chief Minister, Treasurer, Nicole also has taken on the roles of Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Minister for Business and Innovation.
Nicole is a proud local and grew up in the electorate. She attended local schools including Holy Spirit School, Dripstone Middle School and Casuarina Senior College before attending Curtin University and studying Journalism and Public Relations.
Terry Roth AAPI
Director & Certified Practising Valuer, Herron Todd White
Terry commenced his career as a loans officer and trainee valuer specialising in rural property with the Commonwealth Development Bank, becoming a regional manager in 1994. Following a period as a relationship manager with the Commonwealth Bank, Terry commenced valuation work in private practice in New South Wales in 2001 before relocating to Darwin in 2003.
During his time at Herron Todd White Darwin Terry has carried out valuations across a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial and rural property across the Northern Territory and the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Terry's banking experience gives him valuable insight into the expectations of financiers and business clients.
National Director, Research, JLL
Leigh is a National Director of Research, based in Brisbane. He leads JLL’s residential and alternative sectors research nationally, as well as overseeing Queensland research across all sectors. He also has responsibility for coordinating the firm’s macroeconomic research.
Leigh has gained a strong reputation as leading commentator on commercial and residential property markets through quality media coverage and public speaking engagements. He has presented at many industry events run by Property Council of Australia and other groups such as Australian Property Institute, RICs and the Construction Industry Forecasting Council.
Leigh is an experienced industry researcher with over fifteen years’ experience in commercial property and economics. In addition to over 10 years in commercial property analysis and consulting with JLL, Leigh spent nearly three years in research and strategy for LaSalle Investment Management. He also has almost five years’ experience at the start of his career in economics focused roles at the Reserve Bank of Australia and Queensland Treasury.
Partner, Ward Keller
Kevin Stephens is Ward Keller’s longest serving Partner, with 19 years in the role and a total of 25 years’ service with the firm.
Born and raised in Darwin, Kevin’s long association with the Territory has facilitated his strong relationships with mining, resources, infrastructure and pastoral clients as well as government and land councils. He has extensive experience in advising interstate and overseas clients on Territory laws and issues.
Kevin is the Partner responsible for the mining and energy, infrastructure and pastoral sectors.
Registration fees include coffee and tea on arrival, morning tea, and light lunch on conclusion. All fees include GST.
