Gavin Stuart Gavin has a wealth of experience in the conduct of proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and other states and territories, the Federal Court of Australia as well as specialist tribunals. His appearances in court have shown him the negative impacts of litigation, as well as the positive ones. For that reason, he helps his clients avoid the litigation treadmill where he can. Instead, he prefers to solve their disputes through strategies designed to shorten exposure to litigation such as negotiation or mediation. An area of focus for Gavin is helping his commercial and finance clients manage their credit and debt recovery processes, to maximise their cash flow and return on their investments. This involves reviewing and improving credit and debt recovery processes and required documents and advice in respect of lending and security arrangements. Gavin has a wealth of experience enforcing securities for private and institutional lenders in residential and many different commercial contexts. He is adept at managing the various stakeholders through the default and possession process, and extricating his commercial, lending and finance clients from exposed financial positions. |
