The May Lunch & Learn session is co-presented with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA), bringing together members from both Institutes along with high-level experts allowing for an interactive session.

Development Assessment Panels (DAPs) were introduced in 2011 as a key component of planning reform in WA and were put in place to enhance planning expertise in decisions making by improving the balance between technical advice and local knowledge. This session explores the fundamental components of DAPs – how they operate and how to navigate the process.

A mix of experienced presenters will come together to share their learnings and insights - and more.  From a DAP presiding member, to a Developer and an Architect well versed in the process, delegates will come away with the knowledge required to understand and navigate the DAP process.
