Site Visit - Googong Township (A170524)
Googong is a whole new self-contained township being built in NSW, just 16km south of Parliament House in Canberra. It will be built over the next 20 years and will eventually be home to 18,000 people in around 6,000 homes. The town will include two primary schools, two secondary schools and a town centre with the amenity you would expect from a thriving township. The first residents moved in in 2014. To date 1,495 lots have been sold with further releases becoming available.
The site visit includes a bus tour past key areas of the township including Club Googong, The Anglican School Googong, the first Village Centre, premium releases in Montgomery Rise and The Borough, plus a preview of the new display village. On completion of the bus tour the developer’s marketing and sales representatives will present a short seminar on the key detail of the project. The event will conclude with light refreshments and pizzas, and an opportunity for a more informal catch-up with colleagues.
