Currently in his 20th year as a Valuer-General.
As Queensland’s Valuer-General, Neil is accountable for 1.7 million statutory land valuations with a total value approaching $600 Billion. He has successfully led the most significant enhancements to the statutory valuation process for almost 70 years following the enactment of the Land Valuation Act 2010.
This year 1.03 million valuations were issued in 18 Local Government Areas, covering 60% of Queensland’s Valuation Roll. The State Valuation Service maintains these valuations with the support of valuers and administration officers in 19 offices across the state.
