For 2019, we are bringing together Commercial and Retail specialists to provide a pragmatic overview of the current challenges and growth opportunities which exist across both markets.
You will be exposed to up-to-date analysis of transactions and current trends, this event will provide an insight into the current state of the Brisbane Commercial and Retail property markets and will seek to provide further guidance as to how the rest of the year will unfold.

Senior Director, Retail Investments
As National Director heading up the Retail Sales and Investment team in Brisbane, Jacob focuses on facilitating the transactions of retail assets across Australia with a main focus on QLD, NSW and VIC.
With a degree in Property Economics and over 13 years at JLL, Jacob's experience spans local, interstate and international investors across a road range of assests and developmental projects.
His focus for Commercial meets Retail is sharing his firm understanfing of retail investor and developer requirements, as well as key tenent drivers across Queensland.
Cromwell Property Group
Patrick Weightman is a Transactions Manager for Cromwell Property Group and is based in Brisbane. His primary focus is assisting in domestic acquisitions and disposals of real estate and other assets on behalf of Cromwell’s listed and unlisted entities. This role encompasses a broad range of tasks including contract review, financial analysis, negotiation skills and an understanding of external market conditions, all to achieve goals for stakeholders. These skills have been used in the successful acquisition and disposal of a number of assets during his time at Cromwell.
Patrick has a background in both commercial office and retail property valuations, becoming a registered valuer in the state of Queensland in 2014, whilst working with Savills.
An associate member of the API, Patrick is also a member of the Property Council of Australia Market Trends Roundtable, a Victorian-based think tank to identify, design and recommend strategic projects that address emerging market trends that will impact real estate capital markets in the future.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Business Management (Real Estate and Development Major) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.
Herron Todd White
Alistair shares over 30 years experience in the Brisbane Property Market, both as a valuer and in property risk with the ANZ Bank. Prior to his current role, he was the National Commercial Director for Herron Todd White, with strategic oversight of the group’s commercial and residential development valuation services. He has a specific focus on office, retail and government advisory work, most recently providing extensive property advisory services to the Cross-River Rail project.
