Michael Neustein FAPI
Urban Planner and Designer, Director, City Planning Works

In his capacity as an urban planner and urban designer, Michael is considered an industry leader and has provided advice on project planning, design management and the securing of approvals for projects of up to $2 billion value. He has brought to these jobs the combined knowledge of architecture and urban planning now so rare in the specialised construction industry. Michael is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects, a Fellow of the Planning Institute Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

Mary-Lynne Taylor FAPI
Consultant, Bartier Perry Lawyers

Mary-Lynne is a valued member of the Property group of Bartier Perry, and works exclusively in the Environment and Planning area of law. A large part of her practice includes interpreting relevant legislation and planning instruments, drafting and advising on Planning Agreements and Heritage Agreements, and aspects of Biobanking. 

She also has extensive experience in speaking at meetings, addressing councilors of client councils, and speaking at council meetings on behalf of applicants and objectors; as well as assisting councils in formulating policy and new procedures such as the Developers’ Forum at Blacktown, helping form the inaugural Independent Hearing and Assessment Panels at Liverpool in the1990s and later at a variety of councils. 

Since 2007 she has been involved with the Joint Regional Planning Panels - as a member of the Sydney East Panel and then chairing the Sydney West Panel for the past 5 years. During her career, Mary-Lynne has maintained a regular program of education for relevant property professionals  and has been appointed Adjunct Professor by Sydney University for her work within the Urban and Regional planning section of the Faculty of Architecture.
