Lunch & Learn: Data Security (W180504)
Cyber-attacks are on the rise.
The average number of successful security breaches per company each week is 2.5 according to Accenture’s 2017 Cost of Cyber Crime Study. Employees and others with access to your computer systems are your organisation’s front line of attack. But is their behaviour putting your organisation at risk?
If your organisation does succumb to a cyber-attack, there are now mandatory data breach notification requirements that you need to be aware of.
In this session Meriel Steadman will provide practical tips on how to protect your organisation from a cyber-attack (prevention being better than cure) and explain the new reporting obligations by reference to case studies.
