Please join us for an exclusive, members only lunch time webinar session with Jeremy Cox, Registrar General, for an informative session on the changes to the land titling system and more.
Jeremy will discuss the role of the Registrar General, the controls and safeguards in place, the recent structural reform of the land title system and what is happening in the eConveyancing space.
Jeremy will also answer questions such as:
- Will access to the system be diminished or improved?
- Will there be any increased cost?
- Will what is on the title accurately reflect the property the valuer is valuing?
- What are the digital plans for the land title system?

Jeremy Cox is currently the NSW Registrar General and Executive Director in the NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation. The Office of the Registrar General oversees the performance, integrity and security of NSW’s land title system. It is responsible for maintaining the policy and legislative framework for well-defined property rights in NSW. It is also delivering the Government’s eConveyancing reform, which is transforming a paper system to a new more efficient and secure digital format. Jeremy held previous executive roles in Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and State governments' premiers and treasury departments, with an economic policy focus. He also worked in Port Moresby for the current Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Immediately prior to joining the Office of Registrar General, Jeremy co-authored the 2016 Australian Infrastructure Plan. Jeremy has a keen interest in the role of land regulation in economic development and has had several papers published on this subject. Jeremy holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Melbourne and a Geography Honours from the University of Sydney.
