CEO, City of Joondalup
Garry has held executive positions in Local Government since 1977 including his current role as Chief Executive Officer of the City of Joondalup, and prior to this the City of Perth and City of Melville, both for eight years. He has held executive positions with the Institute of Municipal Management (now Local Government Professionals Australia) and the International City/County Management Association based in Washington DC, USA. He was awarded a Public Service Medal in 1998; and in 2004 was awarded the Local Government Managers Australia (WA) Medal in recognition of his contribution to the local government profession. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the City of Joondalup in 2005 at the time the Council was suspended and the Inquiry into the City of Joondalup was under way. The City of Joondalup has been transformed since the Inquiry and it is now recognised as a benchmark local government in Australia.

Damon has 15 years property development experience and has obtained a deep understanding of the full lifecycle of development and investment finance, across the residential, commercial, hotel, student accommodation and retail sectors. During this time he has established strong relationships with local and international investors, investment banks and major Australian financial institutions. Damon’s expertise gives Devwest the ability to provide innovative financial solutions to investors and joint venture partners. Devwest is currently developing a diversified portfolio of projects with private, local government and not for profit partners.

Anthony has enjoyed a diverse and successful business career in both private and public companies. He has held various management roles both in Australia and the United Kingdom, including senior roles in commercial sales and the retail sector. Anthony joined the Altegra team in 2010.
His broad business background has been a catalyst to his successes in property, with his ability to strategically negotiate and adapt to a range of commercial scenarios creating win/win outcomes for his clients. Anthony has driven many key projects and transactions at Altegra, encompassing both the industrial and commercial property sectors.
Anthony heads up Altegra’s metropolitan markets team that operate in a wide range of markets across Perth, and has extensive sales and leasing experience in the northern metropolitan markets.
