Greg Cummins
Director, Knight Frank Valuations Canberra

Greg Cummins is the ACT Committee Chair.  He has over 30 years of experience across all facets of the real estate industry with ACT, NSW & QLD.  He is currently Director of Knight Frank Valuations and Town Planning Canberra.

John Dietz
Chief Executive Officer, Suburban Land Agency

John Dietz has a strong background in transformational leadership, corporate governance, public sector accountability, urban and suburban development and delivery of housing solutions.

He has extensive practical experience with a range of management methodologies used for cost, schedule, feasibility and status reporting. His understanding of effective corporate governance and program delivery techniques with public sector accountability, was advanced while responsible for the delivery of Defence Housing Australia’s national land acquisition, development and construction program. From 2011 until recently, John was the General Manager of the Property Provisioning Group within Defence Housing Australia.

John has a passion for innovation. Prior to joining DHA John worked for Thales Australia where he was responsible for delivering a number of major, innovative, high profile, technology programs. John’s experience prior to joining Thales was predominantly in software engineering.

John holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from Securities Institute Education and holds a Half Masters in Project Management from the University of South Australia.

Kevin Stanley
Head of Property Strategy and Research, Commonwealth Bank

Kevin Stanley is the Head of Property Strategy and Research at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  Kevin has over 25 years’ experience researching, analysing and reporting on the commercial and residential property markets of Australia.  His role at the CBA is to give direction to property lending exposure across development and investment, as well as providing research support to complex transactions.  Kevin is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and twice awarded the API Excellence in Property Award for innovation and industry-leading research.

Nadia Greatbatch
Principal Landscape Architect Design & Planning, AECOM

Nadia Greatbatch is a Principal Landscape Architect based in AECOM’s Design + Planning studio in Sydney. Nadia has over 12 years of experience playing a key role in a variety of projects throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Her portfolio of work ranges from landscape infrastructure to urban revitalisation, commercial developments, playspaces, social infrastructure and community open space. Nadia spent 6 years working on the design of the Googong Township, and is currently working on developing Inclusive Playspace Guidelines for all playgrounds in NSW to address the need for improved provision for people of all ages, cultures and abilities.

Chris Maher
Director, Urban Development Portfolio Leader, Hames Sharley


Chris Maher is a Director with over 25 years’ experience practising architecture and urban design in the UK, Hong Kong, and throughout Australia. Prior to joining Hames Sharley Chris was a Director of Studio 53 which he co-founded in 2009, following a number of successful National and State Directorial roles with Mirvac. Chris’ key skill is facilitating vital, vibrant and healthy places and buildings in which people and communities can grow. His experience combines contextual design with a creative and holistic approach to the detailed delivery of many successful and awarded built projects.

John Ratcliffe
Executive Director, Real Estate Transactions, Challenger 


John Ratcliffe joined Challenger in January 2008 and is Executive Director, Real Estate Transactions within Challenger's Funds Management division. In this role, John is responsible for direct property asset origination and transaction management, including commercial analysis, contract negotiation, legal documentation and the co-ordination of due diligence. In addition John is responsible for acquisitions & investment management for Challenger’s offshore partners into Australian direct real estate.

John holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Project Management (Project Finance & Risk) and is a licensed real estate agent.
