The API in conjunction with the ACT Building & Construction Industry Training Fund Authority is holding a half day seminar targeting new entrants and those wanting to find out more about the diverse careers within the property industry.
During the Seminar the API will look at some of the roles, skills required and the ability to move between the various sectors of the industry.
The property sector provides diversity and numerous career opportunities, some of which this seminar will explore, together with the skills required for each discipline.

Having worked in the commercial real estate industry since 2007 in a variety of roles, Dominic has developed a well-rounded understanding of commercial property and all that it encompasses.
As a natural analytical thinker, he monitors data collection systems and works closely with multiple teams within Colliers International to help clients understand what the stats mean in relation to their assets, and generate insightful forecasts and highlights trends that impact the property industry.
Operating within the property industry for 14 years, Rebecca has actively managed numerous commercial office, retail and industrial assets across the ACT on behalf of a diverse range of both public and private sector clients.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has held a diverse range of roles within the commercial property industry in Property Management, Facilities Management and Valuations which has undoubtedly contributed to her unique and well-rounded skillset.
Louise believes in sharing knowledge, stories and experiences as fundamental to building the future of Canberra. Louise is driven to continuously learn and wants to improve the business of property and the practice of law through her firm, Morris Legal Group.
Louise is the only Canberra-based property and construction lawyer who is also an award-winning developer of large scale mixed-use, commercial and residential property.
Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the Canberra Commercial Property Market having commenced his career with Jones Lang Wootton in 1988. In July 2002, Mark purchased the LJ Hooker Commercial Canberra business with his partner, Steve Scifleet. Since taking over LJ Hooker Commercial Canberra, Mark and Steve have grown their business substantially by building close working relationships with their clients and remaining accessible to them at all times.
