Hot Topic - Cladding (Q200220)
Since the events of London's Grenfell Tower where 72 people died, cladding has become an important topic in Australia. With hundreds of buildings being identified of having non-compliant cladding, it's important to know what's happened, the outlook for 2020 and how to identify and mitigate risk.
Presenters will explore:
- The safer building program - a collaborative audit to identify cladding fire risk
- Rebuilding market and consumer confidence
- Cladding material - the difference between a compliant and 'non' compliant product
- An overview of the legislation
Presenters will then lead the room through a Q&A
