This event addresses the topic of Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF), Syndicates and Australian Real Estate Investment Trust (AREIT) – what they are, their investment activity and their impacts on the property market in Western Australia. The forum will bring together experts on these investment strategies to create context and highlight risks and opportunities for the industry.

Julian LodgeJulian Lodge
Chief Executive Officer, Primewest

Julian has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry with particular capabilities in property development and the asset management of property investments. His focus lies with the management of Primewest and the optimum performance of each of its assets. He is a Board Member on the Western Australian Property Council Divisional Council. He holds a Diploma of Financial Markets (FINSIA), is a Senior Associate Member of FINSIA and is also a qualified Real Estate Agent.

Brad GordonBrad Gordon
Director, Entrust Private Wealth Management

Brad Gordon is a founding director of Entrust Private Wealth Management in 2003. He has been in the financial planning and wealth management industry since 1987. Brad is a qualified SMSF Specialist.  Entrust was founded in 2002. The believed that the existing business model used by larger financial institutions was broken and there was a better way to meet their clients' needs.

 

 

 

Andrew Ross
Portfolio Manager, BWP Management Ltd

Andrew has 25 years’ experience in the property industry commencing at Bankwest as a contract valuer in the early 1990’s.  He obtained his valuation licence whilst working at Knight Frank in 1995.  Since then has worked for a number of property owners (including property syndicators and Australian Real Estate Investment Trusts) and real estate agents in Perth and Melbourne and his experience includes asset management, leasing, development and funds management. He has been head of property at the BWP Trust since 2005 and his current responsibilities include a national portfolio valued at $2.2 billion comprising of 80 properties, mainly Bunnings Warehouses. 

 

Tim PepperTim Pepper
Consultant, Robertson Hayles Lawyers

Tim' s expertise is primarily in the areas of tax, superannuation, wills and estate planning, business succession, trusts and property law. With more than 30 years of involvement in the legal field, Tim is a highly experienced commercial lawyer who works closely with financial advisers, accountants and their clients to provide common sense strategies and effective solutions.
