Ann Manifis, National Director, Head of Retail - WA, Property and Asset Management, JLL
Ann has more than 20 years’ experience within the West Australian retail sector. Her experience includes Property Management and Marketing service delivery to a range of institutional and private investor clients covering retail and commercial.
Ann is currently a National Director for JLL and heads up the most prominent agency retail management department in WA which comprises some 360,000 square metres and 60 retail staff. Ann has developed a reputation for providing clients with effective strategic advice, identifying areas for improvement in the day-to-day management of retail properties and building and maintaining excellent relationships.
With a strong analytical approach and experience in asset and business planning, Ann combines administrative excellence with the ability to motivate and drive the onsite teams’ performance to achieve desired outcomes for her Clients.
Tamra Seaton, Director, MDS Legal
Tamra is a director of law firm, MDS Legal. She practices in the area of franchising and licensing law and the related areas of competition, trade practices compliance, intellectual property and commercial property law.
Tamra's franchising work includes the establishment and ongoing administration, development and corporate governance of state, national and international franchise schemes and also the sale and acquisition of franchise networks. She counts several large franchisors among her long-term clients as well as several new and emerging franchise systems. Tamra also advises and acts for master franchisees and franchisees.
Tamra has been on the Committee of the WA Chapter of the Franchise Council of Australia for approximately 10 years.
Damian Stone, Principal and Chief Problem Solver, Y Research
Damian Stone is the Principal and Chief Problem Solver of Y Research - an independent West Australian property information and research firm.
Since its inception in 2010, Y Research has developed unique databases on Perth’s office, retail, apartment, tourism and industrial property markets through on the ground property inspections. We believe that for data accuracy, there is no better substitute than looking at a property in person.

Prior to starting Y Research, Damian worked at the Property Council of Australia (WA Division) as the Manager – Research and Policy and Business Development Manager.
Jim Tsagalis, Managing Director, Lease Equity
Jim has over 25 years of experience in the property industry including retail, industrial and commercial leasing, sales and asset management.
He has personally transacted in excess of 2,000 leasing deals totalling over $250M in rent, averaging almost 100 deals per year. He has also been active in the sales arena having transacted over $270M in sales. He oversees a business that has managed or transacted over $25B worth of real estate. Notable sales include Plaza Arcade $48M, Southern River Shopping Centre $27M and Equus Retail Arcade $29M.
Jim is internationally recognised for his property expertise, including consulting to some of Australia and the world’s largest REITs, a number of the country’s sovereign funds, local and state governments and some of the largest private property owners in the Australian market.
His body of work and thought leadership has literally shaped much of Perth's retail property market making him a key player and influencer in the market.
