Hannah Stevens commenced her career in 2006 while at University working part-time at CWM Market-Line, now Opteon Property Group, as Assist Valuer and AVJennings Development as Acquisition Assistant. She accepted a full time position with AVJennings Development in 2007 as a Development Analyst working on large government tenders and smaller integrated property acquisitions, until the end of 2009. Hannah transitioned into valuations with Southwick Goodyear (now Opteon Property Group) and enjoyed over four years of diverse valuations across South Australia.

In March 2013 Hannah accepted an in-house Valuer position at Adelaide City Council within the Rates and Valuation Department. During this time she successfully achieved Associate of the Australian Property Institute (API) and advanced to Senior Valuer and Supervisor of the Rates and Valuation Department.

Hannah became a student member of the API and joined the Young Property Professionals (YPP) Committee in 2008. In 2012, Hannah was elected Chairperson of the YPP Committee and held an honorary seat on Divisional Council in 2012 and 2013. In 2014 Hannah was elected to the Divisional Council and was appointed as the SA representative to the API National Education Board, now known as the National Education Innovation Committee, which she still resides on today. Furthermore, Hannah has also been a member of the Continuing Professional Development Committee since 2014.
