API-South Australia

South Australia is proud to be the birth place of the Australian Property Institute (API).

From humble beginnings of just 10 foundation members who met in Adelaide on the 5 November 1926 and resolved to establish "The Commonwealth Institute of Valuers", the API has evolved over time and under gone several name changes and is now recognised as Australia's leading property professional institute.

In the API-SA Division there are approximately 500 members involved in the valuation, administration and use of land, property, and plant and machinery. Members have degree level tertiary qualifications and are required to achieve a minimum level Continuing Professional Development each year.
